The Inspiration of Form

 

One of the best ways to awaken your creativity is to work within limitations such as form. It feels appropriate in winter to work in small, cozy forms, and in this class we will explore both familiar and unfamiliar poetic forms, including the tritina, the Duplex, and the Golden Shovel. By the end of the class you will have about a dozen new poems and a handful of tested frameworks to return to again and again.
